SamsungGalaxy Note Edge has been launched in the second half of 2014. The phablet fans
were much excited with the launch of this particular device because of its
unique flowing screen. Alongside the Note Four, the Edge was also launched at
the same time. The curved screen is a very offbeat idea and has not been seen
before in any phone. Moreover, it is very smartly used for opening the app

of Note Edge from Samsung has made it compete with none other than iPhone 6
which has also turn up a lot of heat in the market during its launch. Since,

- Design- Unlike the cliĉhed and monotonous looking phones from Samsung, the Note Edge is a visual treat. It not only has an elegant look but also has a touch of sophistication that makes it more attractive. Apple's iPhone 6 is a tough competitor in that as well. The sleek body with the silver and gold color would make anyone drool over it. It is also comfortable to hold and work with. When it comes to dimensions and weights both do not differ too much. The Note Edge is a bit thicker than its iPhone competitor because of the curved screen. The iPhone has a razor thin body. The weight has a difference of only 4 grams with iPhone 6 weighing 172 grams and note Edge weighing 176 grams. Hence, when it comes to design both the parties are neck to neck.
- Display- The gigantic screens of both iPhone 6 and Note Edge justify the title of the phablet. The Edge has a display of 5.6 inch with a high resolution of 1440 * 2560 pixels. The pixel per inch or ppi of the screen is also 515 which help in giving extremely sharp picture. The ppi for the apple competitor phablet is only 401 ppi. Also it has 5.5 inch of display along with a resolution of 1080 * 1920 pixel panel. The displays on both the devices are extremely detailed but Note Edge's display is a little bit sharper and a bit clearer than iPhone 6. Note Edge has super AMOLED display while the iPhone uses IPS LCD technology. The former has come up later than the later and hence provide good results
